Dr. Melanie Picciano - Veterinarian

Dr. Melanie Picciano was born in Texas and moved out to Arizona with her family when she was little, living in Foutain Hills for most of her life, except for a two-year stint where she lived in France.

Dr. Picciano attended Arizona State University for her undergraduate degree in Applied Biological Sciences. After graduating from ASU, she pursued her veterinary degree at Midwestern University. She worked for a different veterinary clinic for a few years before joining Chandler Gilbert Animal Hospital in August 2024.

Dr. Picciano’s professional interests include integrative medicine (like acupuncture), preventative medicine, and nutrition.

In her free time, Dr. Picciano enjoys all things nerdy, reading, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband Nic and their dog Jasmine.
